One inland container terminal, three logistics giants: LGICT is a joint venture of the International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI - the majority owner), Transnational Diversified Group (TDG), and Nippon Container Terminal Co. Ltd. (NCT).
Established in January 2015 and commencing operations in March, LGICT is involved in the management and operation of container depots, terminals, yards and freight stations in the Philippines.
Headquartered and established in 1988 in Manila Philippines, ICTSI is in the business of port operations, management and development. Its portfolio of terminals and projects now spans six continents. ICTSI has received global acclaim fro its public-private partnerships with economies divesting of their port assets to the private sector.
TDG is a global business group established in 1976, with over 30 successful member-companies engaged in logistics, ship management, travel and tourism, and IT among others. TDG companies involved in LGICT are Transnational Diversified Corp, and NYK Fil-Japan Shipping Corp. TDG and NCT, through Japanese megaliner of NYK, have been partners in the container handling business since the 1970s.
NCT, a member of the NYK Group, is Japan's first container terminal operator. Founded in 1967, NCT offers various container handling and allied services in key ports of Japan, and internationally through Yu-Tai Engineering Co. Ltd. in Taiwan, and NCT Transnational Corp. in the Philippines.
