Last July 14, 2021, Laguna Gateway Inland Container Terminal Inc. (LGICT) in cooperation with ICTSI Foundation Inc. held three (3) turn-over events for the recipient schools of Educational Assistance. The three (3) recipients were Sirang Lupa Elementary School, Paciano Rizal Elementary School and San Cristobal National High School in Calamba City, Laguna. These schools were provided with one (1) copier each with developer and ink, and 100 reams of bond paper as assistance for the production of modules for their students.
The three (3) schools, represented by their school head, teaching and non-teaching personnel were very thankful to ICTSI Foundation and LGICT for the assistance. The module production has been one of the major issue of almost all of the public schools when the pandemic called for long distance learning for students. Through the donation, the schools were able to resolve this issue.
